Trenchless Technology: A Revolution in Pipe Repair
Modern trenchless pipe repair introduces an innovative method that eliminates the need for deep trenching in your yard. Instead of digging an extensive trench along the entire pipe's length, we only need to create small access points at each end of the damaged pipe. The next step involves inserting a flexible neoprene sleeve soaked in resin into the old pipe. Using compressed air, this sleeve is inflated, pressing against the walls of the original pipe. After a few hours of resin hardening, a new sturdy inner lining forms, comparable in quality to PVC.
This method of trenchless water line replacement ensures a smooth surface, impervious to root intrusion. However, it's essential to note that this technique might not be suitable if the initial pipe is heavily damaged or misaligned in various sections.
