Gino was amazing! We had a water heater that broke down and began leaking. Gino was able to come out immediately and completely replace the entire unit quickly and efficiently. Definitely will be using Excellent Plumbing going forward!

Guys I’ve been searching the Chicagoland universe for a good plumber. A plumber. A good old fashioned plumber. After using two other plumbers to do work I found Excellent Plumbing. Background story: I wanted to have a new sump pump installed. The first two plumbers sent salesmen. First thing these fellas tried to do was sell me a subscription. I don’t want a subscription I just need a new sump pump installed. First guy tried to sell me a $10K sump pump. Nope. Ok. Also needed my water heater flushed (annual maintenance) and a drain unclogged. Cost? $1100. Nope. Second guy wanted $900 to unclog the drain. $900!!!! Nope So I found Excellent Plumbing. Owner is an Armenian guy name Gino Babovich. He comes in and I say shall we sit in the kitchen to talk about prices? He said no I’m here to unclog your drain. I got big smile on my face. My God. A plumber might this guy be? So I show him the drain. Took him 5-8 minutes to clear it. Told him I just had a new sump pump installed he asked want me to take a look at it? Sure. He looks and tells me the sump pump is fine but there’s a leak in the water heater overflow valve. Yes I said the guy who put in the sump pump pointed this out to me. So I was aware of this. Said I “can you fix it?” Yes he says. Assuming he’ll need to schedule work for another day I asked when can you fix it. He says now. I’m in shock at this point. Now? Yes now. Another smile on my kisser. Do it. He does the work in about 10 minutes. Total cost is $812. Still not cheap but overall experience was great. Then he leaves. My God!! A real plumber!! While it remains to be seen how good the job is I have confidence in his work. Try him out. You’ll see why. Or not. Stay warm. Stay safe. It’s a scary world we live in. PHA
